A person may be unconscious and not breathing.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) combines rescue breathing (mouth-to-mouth) and chest compressions to temporarily pump enough blood to the brain until specialized treatment is available.

Commence the basic life support plan DRSABCD.
