If unable to leave a building, move to the strongest, most secure part of the building.

Select a part of a building which is the strongest and offers the greatest protection. Lower ground or basements work best.

Tape windows in an ‘X’ pattern, from corner to corner. This reduces the risk of shattered glass.

Stock your location with food, water and emergency personal protective equipment.
