Guidance

If a motorcycle rider or passenger is involved in an accident, stop before you or they, remove their helmet.

If you observe or part of a motorcycle accident involving injuries, contact emergency services.

In Core Lite, active the Help Alert and share your location visibility with others.

Helmets should never be removed unless deemed completely necessary and the persons breathing is severely restricted, or they are unable to breathe.

Do NOT remove the helmet if there is only one person or you are not confident to do so correctly.

Emergency services will advise further.

Avoid moving the person if they are complaining of neck or back pain.

They may have sustained neck or spinal injuries.

Wait for emergency services.

If the person becomes unconscious, follow the Basic Life Support Action Plan DRSABCD.
