Use case
Traveling home on the travel at night, then walking to the car park.
In app view
Smart sharing
Contact(s) get an SMS containing a link and can view your live location, through to your end destination.
If you stop sharing prior to your arrival at the end destination, contacts get an SMS advising same.
Once you arrive into the safety area at the end destination, sharing automatically ceases.
Contact(s) get an SMS advising that you have arrived.
The safety area will change color from red to green.
You will receive a notification to advise that you have arrived.
Edit the sharing details
Online maps are configured so if you input an address, the location pin will be displayed in the center of a property.
This might not suit your plans, particularly if the location is large i.e. a museum and your movements might not trigger the destination safety area.
Being able to manually edit the end location ensures that you cross into the safety area and SMS are sent to your contacts, letting them know that you arrived.

Contacts view
No matter what type of phone your contact(s) have, they can view your journey on any device. On an iApple, Android, or on a computer.
This is called interoperability and ensures the information you send out, gets to the people you want, in a format they can access.
Live sharing intelligence
On viewing the live location on the online map, if they select the pulsing icon, which represents your live location, they can then view all the information they need:
– Who is sharing
– Your name and phone number
– How long you are sharing for
– Your battery %
– Approximately altitude.

Make it easier for your contact(s). They can see your live location. Now they can also see their’s.
Contacts can select the location icon, grant permission on the prompt and can view their location, relative to yours.
Which makes linking up, that much easier.
